The House
The building has its origins in the early 17th century when it served as the lodging for a tacksman of Cameron of Locheil, however the building is essentially late Victorian / early Edwardian. A tack was a piece of a land in the Highland clan society of the 17th and 18th centuries; and the tacksman was the tenant.
